Learn to Fly 3d RC Helicopters
So what do you think about the new LIPO restriction on Air deliveries into Australia? Do you think its justified? Im not sure of the safety ramifications compared to say aerosols or gas lighters etc....

Our Heli-Child @BeLoWseaLeVeL has plummeted into some dark times of late. Since the beginning of this year the evil lord @Crash Heligod has laid waste to several of his precious models. These being:
- Goblin 700 crash due to Heligod Immortal - Jason Rowe performing a test hover
- The same Goblin 700 destroyed due to a rotor blade de-lamination
- A bad Rave 700 Night flying rig crash due to tail blade ejection - aparently it looked like a meteor.
- Three bad crashes - including frame/servo replacements on the Protos 500...
This seems to be quite practical!
Hello everyone
New to this forum and looks like I've found a great place with even better info!!!
I've been into rc for many years but in the four wheel variety ,always wanted to get into heli's so now I've taken the plunge . As for flying experience I'm just getting the hang of hovering and a little forward flight.
As for heli's I'm in the process of building a Kds Innova 550 and a Chase 360 but I might just focus on flying the 550 for now..
Cheers ..

Not really doing anything different.. it's just better ..
Anyone else have the same thing happen ?

I recently wanted to get into 6ch helis again and so I started looking around for a cheap kit to build. I found hobbykings kits and quickly purchased a $30 kit. I went with cheap electronics but in the end I build this help from nothing to a flying bird for $98.. so far not 1 issue!! Anybody else have this heli or other hk helicopters?? I will have pics to come!!
And the electronics I used for this build are as follows:
Motor: Turnigy 2627 3800kv motor
Esc: Hobbyking 30amp with 3a ubec

Well after destroying a scorpion 4530LE in my 700 goblin, the boys at @ZEN RC provided me with a new weapon. A XTS 4530/4 +5YY -525 10p, I have not assembled it in the heli yet as I have to cut down the shaft and also consider putting in a bearing relief. I still have to do some reading but I trust the guys at xnova to steer me in the right direction. My dog Bertha thinks its pretty cool as well
A few days ago, I received a pretty good deal on a Goblin 570 kit from a friend of mine. Brand new still sealed in the box for $450. I could not say no to that, so I bought it. Since I`m not really heavy into electrics, I need to order a few things to get it flying. So I will be ordering those things tomorrow, along with a couple sets of Zeal 570mm blades.... after I`ve finished flying. I have flown a few Goblins( all of which belonged to the friend I got mine from) and they do fly great. I won`t be able to fly it at events, but it will be fun to fly at the local field.
