Learn to Fly 3d RC Helicopters
Hello everyone. Im from Poland in Europe. I started flying from coaxial lama 4 or 5 years ago. Then it was blade 130 x, wasp nano cp and currently tarot 450 pro v2. In future i think about gaui x3 or chase 360 and in further time some true 500 or 550 class heli goblin 500 ?? maybe 570.
It was a glorious morning, so I headed off to work early with the ambition of putting a couple of tanks through the N7 to start the day off.
During my radio check I noticed that the tail servo wasn't responding to any stick inputs. I had a bit of a play around with it on the bench, but in short, the RJX tail servo has shiz the bed and no longer wants to play the game after only 25 or so flights.
Soooo what does everyone recommend as a good mid level tail servo? I'm only a sport flyer at present so I don't need to spend a fortune, but I would like to buy something that is reliable and...

For sale CC Ice HV 40a esc and Kontonik Kora 25-16 420kv motor (now discontinued).
Both were used in a Protos 500 on 12s (2x 1300mah 6s).
The Kora is a drop in replacement for the stock motor, no mods needed. The MSH long motor shaft installed so it's ready to be used on a stretch with a 14t pinion. The motor is around 220g so it's also a bit heavier than the stock motor.
This could also be used on 10s (2x 1800mah 5s) with a 15 or 16t pinion on a stretched Protos. Also has new bearings in it.
The ESC is in excellent condition. 8.6amp avg and 33a peak. That was with 470 blades, 2300...

Can anyone tell me how to check a brushless motor without actually connecting it to an ESC and potentially blowing the ESC up?

I dont normally post much but i do read alot what goes on here...Today I am walking my dog around the local park where kids and people come to visit. And this young boy (20 ish?) brings out a brand new trex 550 and starts to try to hover ! He did not have control, it was all over the place. There were kids nearby so i came up to him and told him he should not do that. Well i know i might have sounded abrupt but I was concerned. He abused the hell out of me and told me to f... off. Well i would never have believed it unless i saw it for my self. Shortly a video will follow of these new smak monster mini helis. They are tough, incredibly fast and are proposed to have the capability of being stretched up to 280 mm! Can you believe that? These machines look sick and they fly just as well as they look....
