No offence intended @utrinque, but why don't you create another thread for the TBS? It's no comparison for the Scorpion, they're totally different concepts.

 

Matt You are right. Just both are called "FPV racers".

Acctually I am not going to build one soon.

I just respect Raphael Pirker vel Trappy as extraordinary FPV pilot and trust his concepts.

I enjoy listening to his interviews, watching his videos.

Trappy was banned from RCGroups. I was banned from Helifreak and Runryder. I win That's why there is sentiment.

I do not care which FPV Racer is "better". My intention was to show alternative racer in the context of Scorpion product.

One more thought... I prefer building helis from easily accesible parts. But I choose them carefully considering cost and performance.

If I start building FPV racer I will follow the same principle.

FPV racing is highly focusing on electronics. In few years it will probably evolve fast. I am waiting for 2K video link without noticable lag.

Here 'tis!

Scorpion let me have the last one from the first batch that went out to pilots etc. I got some extra arms and the 5 degree mounts as well. Did not bother with the piano wire landing gear either.

None of my other gear turned up today to get her in the air, so I won't get down to business with the build this weekend.

 

What's the best way to cook Opossums? I've heard they taste somewhere between a platypus, koala and a dolphin

Directly from Scorpion. Georges said that the next lot will be ready in about two weeks, but I don't know if any Aussie distributors will be getting some out of that batch or not.

 

Had a quick play last night after I got home from the pub. hehehe... Then I quickly put the frame together to see how she'll look when I get to do the build.
