    Dear Forum Members

It is with great sadness I present this News.

Jason Rowe - one of our foundation members contributors and very very good friend sadly passesed away. He was known on the forum as @5Fidy.

I Know I speak for many people and the RC Helicopter community in general when I say Jason you will be very much missed.

As a person I have never meet a funnier bloke, he could make a funny joke out of anything and he was also one of the first people we conferred with before making this forum and discussed all the Gods and their functions. He lived and breathed rc-helicopters and his fleet of Goblins was second to none.

Many of you will have come to know Jason as an all round great person who never harmed anyone - he was so passionate about his helicopters. He even learn t to Piroflip just recently - a massive feat for any RC helicopter pilot.

Jason Rowe - you will be sadly missed by all who knew you. RIP mate..

    UPDATE:

We have just been informed by Jason family and asked to pass on that Jason Funeral will be
on Friday the 4th July @ 12 pm at Bunurong Memorial Park
    790 Dandenong-Frankston Road
    Bangholme VIC 3175

An invitation is open to any one that wishes to attend.

Yes he would like that definitely... We are thinking of making the winter solstice a yearly event in Jason's honor on the queens birthday weekend. He was so excited about the event, it just seems fitting. But a confirmation will come once we get clearance and everyone thinks its a good idea..

I know he would like that as well, he was instrumental in getting that off the ground. Good luck

I've only been here for a while, but Jason was one of the members here that stood out from day 1. He seemed like a really nice guy, and how good was that name, @5Fidy. What a terrible loss. RIP, Jason.

Bloody hell, I can't believe it. I'd not had the pleasure of meeting the man in person, only through this forum & messages. What a loss of an obviously great bloke.

The storm in Melbourne today is reminiscent of everyone's feelings. Big Jas will be sadly missed and rain falls in his honour.

My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family, the RC Heli community will be missing an important (hilarious & generous) member.

      Fly safe Jas. xx

Yes @mr_squiggle he was a really great charismatic character and @Storm HeliGod you are right, the weather in Melbourne today is just so reflective of everyone's feelings. And @Nate Gaze we are gutted as well.
