I touched a little about the HPS2-3 heads a couple months ago when they were announced with little information on how they worked. SAB Heli division brings the new HPS2, and HPS3 to the market with a different approach to how a traditional rotor head is designed.

When SAB Heli Division designed the HPS3 head, a great idea came form the final product. This new design give these heads a spindle shaft on each of the blade grips, which allows each blade to be individually dampened for a locked in feel during forward flight. You can choose from 3 different dampening systems depending on the style of flying you plan on doing. Check out Bert describe the new design and the benefits you will gain from the new HPS rotor heads.

    Features

    • Large head speed range.
    • No wobble at lower head speeds.
    • Multiple dampening options.
    • Precise phasing.
    • Full package.

Oh, @3dmick i played around with elevator mixing on the weekend for my minip (ffmix?) and now it travels much much faster before pitching up. Adjusting the gyro does have a big effect.
