HOLY HELIGODS!!! thats one big quad copter for sure! I wonder how long it flies for? I wonder if the arms are used to store petrol like in a jet fighter.... This looks like a rather interesting design. If they made it collective pitch as well they could run the motors more efficiently in my opinion. For example if the motors are most efficient at 3000 rpm then lock in the RPM where the motor works at maximum efficiency... like a nitro heli. The only downside to this is that it now becomes potentially more explosive if it crashes and if you where shooting film it would also make noise and generate smoke which could possibly interfere with the footage. But i love the idea...

Yes, I do believe it is collective pitch by way of hollow main shafts with control rods through the middle of shafts (observe servos underneath). Double "twin cylinder" engines, both engine drives have free-wheel clutching to make syncro easier and built in fail-safe if one engine stalls. It looks very well thought-out and well built. I bet it would do well for snatching small farm animals or abducting your neighbor's cat!:D

Wow.... look at the size of that thing! Whats the flying time out of that unit, how does it respond to the wind and how much can it lift?
