Ha ha ...Thats funny @utrinque This reminds me of the PC Versus Mac adds that were running hot a while a go. I Don't know if all is factual however. I think attacking spectrum like that is a maybe a bit below the belt, even if I do prefer futaba though.......

I use Taranis for big helis and sailboat.

Did you hear about Open TX and Lua script language?

      http://www.open-tx.org/lua-instructions.html

My only Spec radio is DX4 for micros. Actually I do not need it anymore having $30 Orange Tx module for Taranis.

For planks I prefer TGY 9X with Open TX. I have dozens of receivers for it.

Yes @Hiroshi they can be very funny sometimes. Do many people fly RC Helicopters in Japan?

Hiroki Itou does. Many times World Champion... On the left on the photo.

In 2013 he was present at F3A World Championship in Włocławek, Poland.

I do regret I did not come. I just prefered to go to the field instead of watching in person him Curtis Youngblood and other elite pilots.

JR PROPO, Hirobo and Kyosho are Japanese companies.

      Hi, @smakmeharder-san
      Nice to meet you!

I am not sure exact number but according to old report, it said there are around 250,000 people who are playing RC in general.
So it quite small market comparing US or EU market I supposed:(
