Thats a good question. You know what would be nice? Some sort of chip so that your charger could count how many charges any one particular battery pack has had - and also record the discharge level. I know there are some apps which log flights but it still is a manual system at the end of the day.

I have the RCLogit app for the iPhone, but I haven't used it yet. Seems intuitive and scans the QR code that you make & print yourself. At the moment I have a laptop database & whilst it's good, it's painful when flying a lot.
