Learn to Fly 3d RC Helicopters

I am almost finished repairing a crashed heli, all that is left is the 2 boom struts, which are a carbon material, but the "grip" that they slide into, and then screwed to a boom clip is plastic,a few suggestions as to a glue that dont setup instantly, and WONT melt (chemical reaction)plastic............?
Hi there

After 26 flights with my 700L dominator (castle 160 hv / 850mx) I have to say that Im not satisfied with the governor of the esc. From instable rpms to gear chattering and back.. Means that I have tried several tuning options and didnt get stable rpm - I have always a slight tail blowout (nose left) on all rpm, low mid and high.

The tail torque precompensation of my beastx is wothless anyway. That option just doesnt work. Tried that allready on my 500 and now on the big one.

Seems that I have to run the 700 with the good old throttle curve. Getting a VBar with governer or...
Please pm me if you have one in good working order
Had a great day at mrchc today. Watching @josh fly was awesome, i only wish i brought my camera as I saw there were some moves he is doing that I want to borrow! Mr @ZEN RC came down for a visit and I got a bag for my 380 gobby, and some switch blades. I didn't put through heaps of packs but just had a chilax type of day
Hello every one, I am new to this site and look forward to learning from all the experienced pilots.
I was wondering if it is possible to use a Devo 703A receiver with a Gold K-bar on a Walkera V450D03 with a Devo7 TX
If any one can give me some advice on this I would greatly appreciate it..

Thanks

Hi electronic freaks

I would like to know something about the torque behavior of an electro motor, especially on a big rc heli.

The question is: Do I have more tourque when Im running higher headspeeds in hard 3D? Is it easyer for an electro motor to recover when the rpms are higher - like a nitro motor would..?

Lets say a nitro motor has the most power on 25000 rpm - the maximum it can do. Is it the same with the electro motors? - I heard that electro motors have the same power on every rpm. From 1 to maximum. But it doesnt feel like that when I fly lower rpm. It seems to break in...
Its a pretty cool concept, although not very practical for use in our hobby. I am thinking they are prototyping them for use on full scale helicopters for rough or uneven terrain landings.
