    Hello,
Well what can I say, @BladeBandit had decided to sell a recently crashed Goblin 630 frame... Since it was a steal at the price, even with the broken parts I couldnt walk past it... I will post some pics up later.. but I have plans on making this a night rig, and join the madness that is night flying... Lucky I got most of the parts on the 20% sale...

Damaged Parts (Will update as I find them)
2 x BK Servos (not included in the sale.. but one crash took out 2 servos.. youch...)
    Boom
    Main Blade Grip
    Main Blade Grip Arm
Various pitch links and uni balls
    Tail Fin
    Bearings in tail and head.

What am I putting in it
Looking at making this a cheap build.. so here are the parts I have.. and will put in...
    Scorpion 130 opto ESC
    Scorpion 4035 500kv motor
    26t Pulley - Target HS of 2350
    BK coreless tail Servo
    MSH Brain
Turnigy 4000mah (crappy packs, but only for night flying.. so should be cool)
    Cyclic Servo's ... RJX Servo's

    Night Blades
Edge 613's ( will need to get lynx conversion bolts)

    Other....
I will post up some pics of the damage... and as the build progresses, as well as to continue to update the two parts list....

Ok... autopsy has been completed.. and I must say I am suprised... the tail basically survived.. all shafts were straight... and I cannot believe how tight the bolts were one... I have no idea what @BladeBandit used to tighten them.. but I was using spanners on my screw drivers to get the leverage to get them open. In fact its a testiment to my drivers that no heads where stripped.. cant recommend them enough...

extra bearings have been ordered... here is hoping I can get all the parts to start working on it...

      I use eds

      http://edsracingproducts.com

I've used them basically since I started in the hobby getting onto 3 years.. and I've just replaced my first tips... 1.5 mm hex

They have 120 mm shafts and my local hobby shop sells replacement tips for $5...

Just found out from @BladeBandit that he used a torque driver for the head... I can't believe I didn't strip the screws

If you have a 1.5 hex that has held shape after all that time @Manyc and i know how often you check you bolts, you have a real winner - right there!

Ok.. I can now say the 630 is flying fine as a day flyer tune to convert...

I'm running low head speed.. flew for 4 min bit super aggressive.. tail tuning funnels piroflips... and came down after 4 min with 50% in the pack

Also @feral there was no nodding happening at all... was rock solid..

Yep the 630 looked fine in the air. None of the reported head bobbing..... It flew well.

Was interesting doing the whole night flight... going to change some of the colors...

But it was fun and was starting to get a bit comfortable.. Running a low head speed and having it a bit tamed down for now....

Looking forward to getting some more in...
