      With combo 2, fully decked?

I got the full combo with Ebar ect for 599.99 usd

(well, i'm in Texas too so I had to pay tax, but it actually came out to $513.26 shipped considering the "houston heli club" discount code and the $25 refund for the blades)

      :D

      I'd be careful with those.

They've been know to explode in mid flight on more than one occasion/user hence the recall from KDS. (Official e-mail from them addressing this "defect")

Would be unfortunate to hear that your bird went down cause of some cheapo tail blades

Allen said they're sending these out as a replacement for the meantime: http://www.kdsmodelsusa.com/product-p/1192.htm
A tad shorter, but with the gain turned up a bit it works

I have the align 450L ones - may use them instead..

@Glen What are the optimum mm for these tail blades? Looking for some good CF ones or something of a greater caliber

      Thanks

      Edit: umm yeah nvmd, they're 62mm :)

Are you all setting your throttle curves to get a headspeed or does the hobbywing esc have a built in governor?

If not, i'm wondering if the Ebar V2 has an electric governor because the hobbywing esc has a signal cable which I assume is for the governor

Any input greatly appreciated as I almost have this kit 100% ( I love my job.. i've built the kit here at work during night shift while getting a chit load of overtime)

Been taking snaps along the way---Will post pics of the progress as soon as i'm done ;)

New second stage reduction gear has arrived and it has a double flange to keep the belt in place.
      Thanks Acme Hobbies!
