When I`m Not Flying...

    I`m working at a local full scale aircraft manufacturer, as an aircraft welder. Here is a photo of the type of things I build for the airplanes. This is part of an engine attachment for a Rotax 912IS engine. The engine attachment is made of 4130 chromoly

      The welding on that shaft looks pretty darn good!...Do you have to xray the welds as well?

      Thanks Smakmeharder. They get sent out for xray, and then powder coating.

      Nope.. Never. I take too much care in making sure the welds are clean, pure, and have proper penetration. :)
