Aside from the obvious fact that rotors and moving air create potential static in general......
I've read different things about static electricity build up occasionally causing problems especially on belt-drive helis........ others say its not a problem at all...... still others say its dependant on temperature and/or humidity, materials, amount of belt contact to inside of tail boom, etc.
I of course have a preventative remedy prepared for installation, but I would like to hear a few opinions from more familiar intellects.
