Hi @helist I dont fly scale but iknow people who do and boy do they have some awesome models. Jeff from the Melbourne radio controlled heli club flys several magnificent machines that he custom made himself.

I normally fly only smaller helis - but i appreciate a scale build thats for sure!

 

Not "scale models" but I fly helis from sub-mini to 450 size.
To my knowledge, models are rated either on motor or blade size. Actual "scale models, as in life-like models", would fall into one of those categories.... if I am correct.
