I am transferring my O.S. GT15HZ gas engine to another airframe, and noticed that, the ignition module metal braid wire to the spark plug is worn in a few parts.

Does anyone know where to buy some metal braid wire to patch it up?

I dont care about aesthetics, its the RF shielding that I am worried about. Would it be enough to go to a hardware shop, and get some metal braiding of a plumbing hose fitting?

I am guessing for EMI shielding, copper metal would be best. Maybe some copper tape from Altronics or Jaycar?

Anything metallic that provides a cover will do the job. You could use copper tape if you have it or you could also use aluminium foil (it's what is used for data cables).

I have used the braided fuel line sold at speed shops .( Just remove the rubber fuel line)
