Hi Wayne, quite the contrary - we welcome scale pilots with open arms. There are not many scale pilots here (at the moment) but seriously we want to focus on building this group as well. We push news, videos and have one or two very prominent scale members on board. The discipline of scale involves building life like models and that can be quite challenging. Quite often you cant just use stuff out of the box to build a large scale helicopter. Thank you for joining Wayne and feel free to post in our scale area. Please put some photos of your models up. We would love to see them and so would our other members.

      Best Regards

      Heligods Team

      Hey Wayne

How do you set up your pitch and throttle curves, I have mine set at -12/+12 with a hover at over 1/2 stick and inverted hover below 1/2 stick, zero at mid stick (as you would expect). The reason I'm asking this is there a few older gents at our club, and they seem to like hover at mid stick (maybe 4 degrees, I think), is this how you set them up? They may need some help, and I'm not sure my setup is appropriate for their scale flying style.
      Cheers Mate

A scale heli pitch curve is completely diff to a 3D heli, and idealy can have hover around mid stick or a little below, the reason being, scales are designed only for sports flying, cicuits, real to life flying, not high impact 3D manouvers. UNLESS of course you build a scale to do 3D manouvers, then thats something different. So no, your setup (-12 +12) is not appropriate for something along the lines of a proper scale heli.
