Yes i have seen a blue ringed octopus as well. It was incredible! I almost stood on it in a small rock pool! I was at bermagui and some movement in the rockpool caught my eye. I poked the shape with a stick and it lit up light a Christmas tree! It truly was incredible - only small - but incredibly vibrant!

They can kill you in short order, so be mindful of that fact.

That image is alarming yet strangely hypnotic.

Wow! These people had a bad day, yet survived.
It almost looks like the pilot was trying to make land and had to ditch in the water at the last second.

Yes it is @Beaver and some people find them so pretty that they pick the small octopus up only to be bitten and potentially suffer a paralyzed respiratory system

Yes for sure... he stalled it a bit.... still the water may have offered some sort of cushioning from that height. It might have been intentional. Still it sort of fell the last 3 meters or so.

I noticed that. Looked like he stalled all right. You can see the rotor almost stop. Not to mention that there were obviously people standing where he might have been intending to land. That's some quick thinking there!

Wasn't much of a race. Only one other mower showed and the steering ended up breaking on it.

How fast do these things go? Looks like you would have to work the suspension as well... Are they regulated as to how many mods you can do?

This isn't sanctioned..... Run what you bring..... No limits as long as its mostly still lawn mower drive train.

To answer your question @smakmeharder , the thing ran around 30kph on the dirt track, and I used 2nd gear mostly. If I were to ever get it out in the open, it could probably do 100kph (60mph) or so. Its mostly built like a racing cart with solid frame suspension, but it has all riding-lawn mower drivetrain except for the solid rear axle and disk brake.
