Hey Guys, My Logo 700 kit arrived last week and I am trying to decide on what setup I am going to use. I got the kit with VTX 717 blades and looking to run 12s 5000 packs. Other then that I am undecided on the rest of the set up so I am curious to see what others are running.

I am using V control so I would prefer an ESC with NEO Integration.

Really looking forward to hearing what your setups are. (Oh Yeah... this will be my first 700)

    Cheers

Hold out for the new Scorpion ESC - Tribunis - fully programmable from the Vcontrol.
I'm running a Kosmik until it comes out in a week or two

Thanks @ChopsyWA, I am really interested in the Tribunus. Not sure if I really need the 200amp one though as my flying style is beginner verging on sport.
I have heard there is supposed to be a 12s 130amp version due late May and a 160amp that I have no time frame for release.
Maybe someone on here may have some more inflation on the 160.

      Cheers

I have decided I will go with Futaba Servos. Will be using BLS273SV on the swash and a BLS276SV for the tail.

Still to decide on the motor and esc.

      Cheers

Nice, Futaba always a rock solid choice.

Will be a while till the smaller 12s/14s Tribunis will be out (120 to 160 amp), so perhaps still go the Scorpion route with the 4525 motor and just use an esc you already have until the smaller HV tribunis (as the 200amp may be too heavy for a "light" setup)

Thanks @ChopsyWA, I am really keen to try one of the Tribunus's because of the integration with V control and Neo. I'm not a big fan of the mikado U/I sensor. I see it as a weak point in the main power circuit. so really only leaves the Tribunus or one of the Kontroniks.
Could get away with the Jive pro 120 with a tell me module at the moment as I am far from a smack pilot.

Was just looking at the manual for the 200amp Tribunus and it has the weight at 260g, not that much different to the Cosmic 160 & 200amp speedys. From memory they are 200g without wiring.

As for a motor it will either be a Scorpion 4525-500 Ultimate, Xnova XTS 4525-530 or a Kontronik Pyro 750-50.

Lucky I'm not in a hurry to get it in the air so have plenty of time to decide.

      Cheers

Pity it takes more than just a good setup to fly like this :)

Boy those rolling circuits were very nice. Also his hurricanes in any orientation were very tight and controlled and fast. Very nice flying indeed.

So I think I have my setup sorted.

      Cyclic Servos - Futaba BLS273SV
      Tail Servo - Futaba BLS276SV
Motor - Kontronik Pyro 750-50 (Non Competition Version)
      ESC - Scorpion Tribunus 200amp

This will all be controlled by V control & Neo.

      Cheers
