image.jpeg Something new is coming in a few days..!! :)

I just bought this 6S Gob yesterday. Its like new, just a few easy flights on it. The Xnova motor has been used for two hours in an other bird. Bk 7001/7006, Kontronik Jive 100A+ LV with BEC, Optipower 450 mah backup supply.

I ordered a msh brain for this one. Want to try it out. And of course the prog interface for the kontronik esc.

My Aligns will be sold soon. I will miss the 700 cuz its customized but when you have play everywhere after 40 flights there is no reason to go on with that company anymore..

What do you think on my decision?

That was a bad one! Tail rotation direction was wrong WTF...! Scratched all my blades but could hold the little rodeo on the skids. Damn shiz. Everything other seems to have survived. It still wasnt that much rpm.

But how could I do such a mess..? Tail belt wrong way..? Never had a belt system in a heli. My fault 100%.

Can somebody tap my shoulder and show me what the frack I have done wrong..? :D haha

Need some blackline blades now.. :)

Yes it was the tail belt.. Really stupid mistake. It will take some time for blade shipping.. Sometimes you cant see the trees trough the forest.

This is the result of a stupid mistake I will learn from. Costs: 110.-$. But what hurts more is that we have beautiful weather in November and I allready have sold my other helis. New blades will come in 10 days. And maybe the November rain... I ordered some tuning parts as well. Here is some carbon for the skelleton guy! :D

Good thing that's all the damage there was. @Crash Heligod must have been busy elsewhere that day.... probably indulging himself in his pink frilly stuff and picking flowers in a meadow somewhere, as I hear he likes to do.

He was there as I was reassembling the tail boom... Told me it doesnt matter how the belt goes in and that I dont have to check the tail direction. Maybe he put me something in my coffee.. ;) unbelievable happenings here. Can only be explained by something supernatutal!!!

Finaly! Here we go again! The new blades arrived yesterday. :) I have done some upgrades as well:

      - Lynx Swashplate
      - Lynx tail box
      - Lynx tail crank and slider
      - 21T tail pulley
      - tuning motor mount
      - Derlin main gear
      - CC BEC Pro (as the Kontronik goes to just 6v)

The tail belt is mounted correctly now!! Just need to rethink the tail slider movements to be 100% sure. @smakmeharder is it the same as on the Aligns? Means when Im looking at the heli from behind, left stick imput slider goes right? Turning nose left, gyro makes the slider go left?

Its snowing in europe but this wont stop me to try out this piece of art. :)

Nice bling... but I found you didn't need to do anything to the 570 to make it fly nice...

with the tail... look at the leading edge of the blade... (the fat side) it will move the tail in the direction it goes... so if you move the tail to the left, the leading edge should point to the right... don't get caught up in the pitch slider.. I have heli's that behave differently.. learn to check via the blades and you will never get it wrong...

Yeah the bling is just a personal preference. I like to make it look realy high tech. The 570 will perform perfect without that stuff.

Thanks for the tip. I'll check the tail blades tomorrow.

Thats the benefit of flying with other people, as a rule, before a maiden, have a mate check your heli over (all control movements, blade directions and gyro actions), can save a lot of heart ache. You just are too close to it when you lovingly craft it up on the bench. OK. Rip it up, Take 2 - and good luck.....

Thanks again for the tip with the edge of the blades @Manyc Its very logical. I think my 570 is ready now. I will recheck everything an other day to be 100% sure. There is no reason to hurry anymore. Its snowing and snowing :)

Aww, just strap some popsickle sticks on the skids for snow-shoes and go at it. You know you want to! (Joking of course)
