I have had my eye on these for a while now and one came up for sale in Denmark. The bloke decided to split and was selling the Airfram with blades at a good price so I jumped....... A little over a week later she arrived.

So this is the Shape S8 from Freakware in Germany

    Setup
    Scorpion 5035 410kv
    Kosmik 200
    BK DS-7001HV

    Mikado TelMe module
    Buffer 2s 450mah
    12S 5000
    Xblade 807
    Xblade 116

HS well not sure yet, highest will be no more than 1900

The TelMe came in from PerthRC today, the Gens Ace buffer pack came in as well, so straight to the HeliCave to finally fit the Kosmik etc....

I'm waiting on the RC Pro plus 7 plugs so I can run the battery wires from the Kosmik up to the front. So in the mean time I have run the batteries with the wires inside the frame...

Next is to fit the boom, adjust the tail servo, fit the blades and then the maiden flight on the weekend....

Maiden flight was a success.... Needed some head gain and some adjustment of the Gov to get the head speeds I want which ended up being 1350, 1650 and 1850

I was surprised how light it felt, it weighs 6.8kg with 2 6s 5000 packs.... 12s on this machine works! A lot faster than I thought it would as well oh and quite Agile too....

Got a quick vid done as well..... the camera man lost sight and gave up, but what he got was good enough to give you an idea, shame about the pilot lol

Had a bit of a whoopsy yesterday and the big Shape went in..... luckily into the very long grass!

      Damage:
      Main shaft slightly bent.
Bent arm on the main blade grip.
Both pitch links bent and a couple of bent bolts..

All parts ordered from Freakware and some bearings from ZenRC, thought I may as well change some bearings...

Added a second battery tray and some Xblade 126 tails blades to the Freakware order...

Ordered a Battery ID sensor from PerthRC which came in during the week. Wasn't 100% sure what I was going to put it on, I decided the Shape was the easiest to fit it too.... and it was!!
