    Dear Forum Members

It is with great sadness I present this News.

Jason Rowe - one of our foundation members contributors and very very good friend sadly passesed away. He was known on the forum as @5Fidy.

I Know I speak for many people and the RC Helicopter community in general when I say Jason you will be very much missed.

As a person I have never meet a funnier bloke, he could make a funny joke out of anything and he was also one of the first people we conferred with before making this forum and discussed all the Gods and their functions. He lived and breathed rc-helicopters and his fleet of Goblins was second to none.

Many of you will have come to know Jason as an all round great person who never harmed anyone - he was so passionate about his helicopters. He even learn t to Piroflip just recently - a massive feat for any RC helicopter pilot.

Jason Rowe - you will be sadly missed by all who knew you. RIP mate..

    UPDATE:

We have just been informed by Jason family and asked to pass on that Jason Funeral will be
on Friday the 4th July @ 12 pm at Bunurong Memorial Park
    790 Dandenong-Frankston Road
    Bangholme VIC 3175

An invitation is open to any one that wishes to attend.

      He sure did.

If he was not flying helis, he was driving his rc cars, which he was pretty good at too.

He was the one that encouraged me to keep flying when I nearly gave up. He suggested I move to Goblins as an alternative

      RIP mate.

Am I allowed to ask what happened to him?

Yes he was an awesome character Ed, we were at the MRCHC club house this morning just talking about Jason. We have set up a memorial fun fly and plan to make him a HeliGod Immortal on our site when the time is right. Jason was so integral in the sport that most have the same reaction as you, that being disbelief and genuine sadness. Even thought it was blowing its guts out I had to put one Pack through for Jas.
