Very nice.. I wanted to get one but didn't want to cut a hole in the canopy.. the 4530-525 had more than enough power for me...

Oh yeah! That thing was going so hard it looked like it almost shook the logo of the video! Oh wait, they were effects right? or were they... Some serious serious power there...some nice moves too! very very nice indeed...

Awesome! (Side note: It kills me watching some of those maneuvers and how they seemingly defy aero-physics, I.e.- hovering sideways 90 degrees to ground, even though I know there are thrust vector angles and other geometric tricks at work here.)

Seriously though that motor was not even stressed... You could run another 5 degrees on your pitch and the xnova would be saying... Is that it?

I agree and when I think about it, a rc helicopter should not be able to do such things :):)

Seriously @josh I reckon you could do alot of experimenting with that motor. Crank the pitch up and spank the hell out of it! The only downside of course is the extra stress the heli will go through - ie things "MIGHT" (probably will) break! But man it will be one hell of an adrenalin rush!

I've only recently returned to R/C after being out for years. I'm amazed by these new brush-less motors. They look like (if I'm not mistaken, ARE) modernized miniature versions of the 3-phase motors I worked with when I was into industrial maintenance and engineering.

Some insane power.... how is all that power holding up now @josh? looks like there is heaps left over to smak with. Throw on some 715s when they become available.... watch it move then!!! (not that it is slow now....lol)

Defiantly plenty of power to spare, I will be flying the HALO 688s when they come in. I know you would love to see me boomstrike with the 715s thehehe ;);););)
