    Thats right everyone... Its time for the 2015 3d heli Simulator competition. Last year 3d Mick took out the title. Basically all that is required is for you to video a simulator flight of your choice - include music if you like - and fly your heli like you stole it.

    The @HeliGod Father @Crash Heligod @Storm Heligod and @F3C HeliGod will determine who will be the winner! There will be a prize - soon to be announced! So start flying and give it your best. Also include how long you have been flying and a bit of a blurb about your submission.

      Great flying guys! Hey Josh you said you used fraps. When I try to use it the files are about 1gb for 30 seconds of video. How did you get that video?

      Ok mr @ZenBen you have to take the movie file and load it into a video editor - for windows you would use moviemaker or something similar - some free editors can be found here http://www.ezvid.com/moviemakeralternatives

      So the steps are....

      Fly the shiz out of your heli and record using fraps
      Open the movie editing program and import your fraps video.
      Select Save to YOU TUBE (most have this option pre-configured)

      Onced saved you will have a MUCH smaller movie file. Upload this file to youtube and put a link from your you tube video in your heligods post

      The @HeliGod Father is most impressed with the quality of the submissions. I am concerned about @josh however.... How does one fly that good without turning to the dark side?

      Hey Ben, I record the video with fraps and after every 4 gigs of video it creates a new file so I ended up having about 5 video files, I just then imported them into premier and sequenced them in order. Then rendered it down to a non ridiculous size.

      LOL. Just got back from a birthday party and was PUMPED to jump on the sim, as you do lol!

      Summary - Flew my first heli in July 2011, flew by myself for 12 months and then joined MARCS. Loving watching the pros fly! Uploading to youtube overnight and will post the video tomorrow.

      They're all great vids so far. Josh is my choice thus far... I do love smakme's axial aileron and elevator rotating elevator and aileron tic tocs though!! That was a mouth full. @ 53sec and 2:23.

      I smashed out some flights on the sim tonight but I wasn't happy with them
      So i will jump back on the sim tomorrow
