Yet to be confirmed, but it has been announced by a Thunder Tiger insider.. I'd say the source is pretty solid.

Important Thunder Tiger Helicopter Announcement and Upgrade Offer
Due to market conditions, Thunder Tiger has made the decision to discontinue part support for the below heli models. Please note there is still stock on many parts for the below discounted helis, but once supplies are depleted they will no longer be produced.

    · Raptor E820 (4793-K10)
    · Raptor E720 Flybarless Kit (4791-K10)
    · Mini Titan E325S FBL (4710-A23)
    · MINI TITAN E325SE ARF (4711-K12)
    · MINI TITAN E325V2 (4712-K10)
    · Mini Titan V2 SE Torque Tube version (4713-K11)

    · Raptor G4 90 Nitro (4894-K10)
    · Raptor 50 Titan SE (4854-K10)

To compensate owners for this transition, Thunder Tiger and HRP are willing to offer extremely discounted prices. We will have 100% guaranteed parts support for the foreseeable future for the below models. Per Thunder Tiger’s production schedule, we should have full parts support within 5-6 weeks.

    o Customer Appreciation Price - $420

Ouch ! That hurts.. Glad they are still on board with the E700, Feel sorry for the people that own the others .. I hope they recover, would have been a hard decision for sure.

Just goes to prove that things are tough in the hobby at the moment when the big boys are having to go to these lengths to stay in the game. Imagine how the small players are feeling the pinch...

Traditionally the TT parts haven't been all that cheap. The G4 & 4.1 can be extraordinarily expensive to repair.

But they are an extraordinarily good helicopter. I have never flown a 700, but if they roll and flip as good as the G4, the nitro and electric are on the list for sure

I wonder if it has something to do with lack of kit sales. You don`t see many Thunder Tiger helicopters at the events over here. Not sure how it is elsewhere, but here...you really only see factory pilots flying them.

I'd say for sure @Geena it has a lot to do with it, we see quite a few here, I just assumed it would be the same over there, interesting to see that it's not. whats the most popular over there Goblin ?

Oh yes. Goblin is pretty much king here. With Bert being in the area, there is a huge Goblin following. I even have one.....PLEASE don`t tell Nigel..LOL T-Rex is pretty popular here as well, as parts are everywhere, and they are inexpensive to repair. Another popular brand here is Gaui.

I don't think that they get pushed in a marketing sense like some of the other brands. It seems to me like they've relied on their past reputation as a sales tool and have been overtaken by newer brands willing to put time and money into advertising and innovation.
Goblin is a marketing machine, yes their helis are as cool as all buggery, but they are reasonably expensive to buy and repair compared to other brands yet they still yield massive sales world wide. Maybe TT is just backing off for the moment and will be coming back with vengeance introducing a new line of cool innovative machines that will take the market by storm?

I'm wondering if it's also a matter of having machines setup for making parts for less popular helis.. And those that have sold more they are having trouble keeping up with demand.. As it seems at the moment you can't get a crash kit for the e700.. And at that moment I can't get a main gear...

So it might make sense from that point of view.. But sad to see helis go out of the market...

I would say the retailer is at fault. For example Compass had an issue with stores in the U. S not holding enough stock, so they opened a global store. But, You cannot buy from it if your country has parts under control. Good system I say. This 'can' t keep up with demand' doesn't have a leg to stand on these days. Just my 2 cents

So this begs me to ask the question.... Does the popularity of the promoting pilot have more to do with heli sales than the model itself? Or a combination of both marketing and product as well. Definitely having a gun pilot winning shows using the manufacturers model is one of the best forms of advertising.
