When you round the heads it is possible to grind them down a couple of mm to restore them to new condition. But the 1.5mm hex heads sure feel like they are made from putty...

I just bought a set of Arrowmax new range with the titanium nitride coating, Hardness is over 2000 kg/mm2 Knoop or Vickers Microhardness. 2500-3000 are typical. Equivalent to over 85 Rc. They already had a good product, but with any luck the coating will make them even better. Price is reasonable too.

KDS have just come out with a new top end range made with good materials and titanium nitride coating too (not showing in these pics), Price cant be beat, I personally had a play with a set of these last week, quite impressed. They also have a nice little magnetized tool rotisserie i think ill get.

I wanted MIP, but settled on the Arrowmax, mostly happy with them, the OD could be a little larger for better grip, and your right, probably less grip again with sweaty hands? hadn't noticed. The KDS feel awesome in the hand with a larger diameter and better finish for grip, but dont look as cool. I also wished they machined the number of grooves on the handle corresponding to tip size, like everyone else does. tip size is printed on the handles, But cmon! :)

I'm chasing a new set of tools atm, where can we get hold of these KDS ones? Acme don't have them on their site yet.

Don't know if you live in the US or not but I got a great set from Home Depot or lowes. I don't remember which one. I bough them when I was working as a carpenter. So if your not the kind of person who has to have a heli branded set of hex drivers just because they are for your heli. I suggest trying a good set at Home Depot or Lowes. They were reasonably priced and came with a lifetime warranty.

I picked up a set of Scorpion drivers at IRCHA last year, and they have quickly become my go to tool set. They are light, durable and fit the screw heads perfectly.
The only bad point is they are not offered in a set, so the have to be purchased individually.
