I have posted this over in the MSH Brain & Hitec Forums on Heli freak with little luck, i thought i will give it a go here.

    Hi Guys,

I have an Aroura 9 & I have Normal, Idle up1 & Idle up2 set on switch C. My problem is I have tried several different ways to set Bail Out on the momentary switch H with no luck. What I am trying to achieve is to be able to hit the H switch while in any of the Idle Up's. I have gone into the Rescue set up page & selected the 4th section down & chosen AUX as my channel. In the TX I have assigned the H switch to AUX on channel 8.

I have then gone into the advanced menu & bought up receiver, selected the AUX channel as channel 8 but no joy[IMG]

    Am I missing something here?

    Any help/comments Please[IMG]

So I have never used that radio.. But you need to do it via banks on the brain.. If you have a look I think bank switching is controlled by channel 7.. If you attach a picture of your receiver page I can tell for sure.. Then you can set the control to that switch and it would be independent of idle up... If that makes sense

The only person I know of who has flown an Aroura 9 with a Brain/Ikon is @Radar Kane. I think he's having some time away from the hobby at the moment, but maybe he'll get this tag and chime in.

      Thanks Manyc,
Bank switching is on channel 7, i can get it to work if i select it in one of the idle up's but i would like it to be activated via a momentary switch if possible no matter if i am in Normal or IdleUP 1 or 2. As i am using a Optima 9 receiver i have been told buy someone on Helifreak that it can't be done (Well, if you have standard rx type where 6 channels are fed to the fbl with seperate wires you cannot use the AL/rescue on a channel. You will be limited to using it on one of your 3 setups.)
I am selecting AUX & using channel 8 with switch H with no luck.

Ok.. So on order to use self level you have to use a bank.. In bank 2 for example go tick the self level option... I would then set control of Chan 7 to the momentary switch... For idle up.. Pick a switch not linked to a channel as it's only radio settings your changing with the switch

Bugger! Looks like @Crash Heligod has been buying up all of the hot glue supplies again preventing people from securing their connections to the fbl.
