Are they any good... I have heard a few people say they have a bit of a harsh spool up .. They seem cheap enough, but i wonder are they worth it ? Ie: will they be ok for an old sport flyer, or should i fork out the extra cash for something better

I think @The Dude actually had one of these @Adolf . From what I remember the spool up was a bit harsh, but it did do the job. May be @The Dude could fill you in.

@Adolf , I had no issues with it at all, i would say they are a go... But on a smooth surface they do kick out the tail on spool up, On grass it was fine... So yer i'd say go for it, cant beat them for the price..

I have had many clones .. as it's all i could afford when i started out.. as for the YEP's they are YGE clones .. and they do use older firmware, but if thats all you can afford at the time or when you are getting into the hobby, Well then thats the way to go.. I have Kontronics in all my stuff now, but if it where not for the clones i would'nt have gotten into the hobby, so i dont think you can really characterize someone as a thief for buying what they can afford.. Bit harsh , but each to there own ... @Adolf buy a yep 120, they work well..

Yeps should have a really smooth spool up if you have it set properly. AFW on and auto power on start up with heli medium
