      Alright... d@mm°t!!
The 450 can be mechanically sound, and I inevitability crash from flying like I have a pair..... that doesn't really bother me.
I get one flight in today with no problems, basically hovering around the lot pitch bumping and doing some Piro to check the setup.... no problems.
Second flight, not so much. I went to the park to get a few runs at speed in open air, and one minute into the flight I nail up collective to go high and a servo decided to crank itself all the way out and threw me into a death roll to the right, putting the 450 head-first into a barrier chain.... which was better than the adjacent concrete I suppose.
One servo split open, bent boom, shredded blades..... so far.
I'll be ordering servos and blades again. IMG_20160328_161613147.jpg IMG_20160328_161458742_HDR.jpg IMG_20160328_161431514.jpg

There you go @Beaver! Happy Easter - Again!!. I try to look after you as eating easter eggs will make you gain weight or get diabetes... This is much more healthy for you! I must say it was rather hard to keep jamming the servo with my finger while the helicopter was plummeting to earth! Muah ha ha ha....

What a shame you couldn't have hung yourself on that chain alongside the 450...... and Easter was yesterday, you jack-@$$! :p

It seems ur avatar ain't helping much keeping Crash away :D . Crashing every flight out isn't gonna help with flight progression, just keep it easy while learning.

I've gotten about 7 flights in since the last crash... in moderate wind no less.
I was was taking it easy, running circles around the perimeter of the park, nothing complicated, then lost orientation at one point and went in sideways before I could correct.
The mistake was not having the canopy on and the Heli blended in with some trees that were in the background. I'm about due for an avatar change anyway. :p

And @Beaver @Crash Heligod decident to pay my little gobby 380 a visit again today. My sacrificial head link decided it was time to sacrifice itself and I had one mainblade not being controlled by anything! No option but to throttlehold 12Meters up in the air.. OUCH... blades boom, 2 servos and badly dented ego....

Jinx!! I just offered up my 450 to @Crash Heligod today, trying out a half assed piro flip IRL for the first time. Took my cheapo blades, main shaft, boom, both front servos and tail shaft. Need more crash immunity...

Offered up, eh? ..... Nobody likes to admit such a thing. Most of my damage is caused by my own thumbs as well.
Mysterious electrical and mechanical failures can usually be blamed on @Crash Heligod.... although He has been known to manifest gravity fields around trees and other objects as well as some other strange supernatural occurrences.

Very true @Beaver. The way my gobby crashed was very mysterious! It was really wierd the way the bladegrip link broke and it did feel like a gravity field was below my heli.... I am still to properly equate the collateral damage.

Uh, yeah... having a blade randomly flapping about..... I can only imagine what that must have been like. Hopefully nothing like a "bullroarer".
