Ok, so I have an interesting challenge. I thought I'd sit down and spend a few minutes getting a start on this Mini Protos build and at least get the DS-3001HV servos mounted onto the bearing blocks.

However, it appears that the servo mounting holes in the bearing blocks are spaced more narrowly apart than the holes on the servos themselves. I measure the inner distance between the mounting holes on the bearing blocks at 4.20mm, whereas for the servos it's 4.60mm (I've checked both mounting blocks and two of the three servos and the measurements are consistent). Being 0.4mm out they're...
For me crashing is a problem (thanks @Crash Heligod) . The most i have flown in a row without crashing is 13 flights. What is your record?
This is getting crazy. Why would somewone do this. He is flying over a jet on the runway at 2.20

Ok Guy , simply Question lol

how do you get around The Financial Adviser..

e.g. parts = How much did that cost!
new heli's = but you can only fly one!
browsing / research = how much you plan on spending this B****** Time
Bit of a fantasy question really due to @Beaver raising the question in another thread. Could we build a real helicopter to fly like an RC Helicopter? Do we have the current technology and materials which could do this?

If we could, how would the pilot feel? Also imagine a full scale machine doing something like a rainbow!... I think it would be an awesome thing to see - i dont know how many Gs would be pulled in such a manouver.

Would there be any practical application for such a machine? I have always wondered why real helicopters don't have negative pitch
Joshua Labita just won first prize from the F3N helicopter competition. F3N is a very difficult disciplie to follow as it applies the precision of f3c mixed with the crazy of 3d maneuvers. Well done Joshua, you are now qualified as a Heligods Official Gun Pilot..

Well just wondering. Are people who fly RC helis switching to muti rotors? Some people are claiming the rc helicopter industry is in massive decline. Personally as far as our board goes, we are not being adversely affected at the moment- in fact probably the opposite.

So are the people who would normally take to rc helicopters being cut off at the pass by multi rotors because of their simplicity?

IMO i think that multi rotors will find their own niche and it may even encourage more people to take on RC helicopters because there are not many challenges associated with flying a quad...
